monday's job was hell!!! and dat was only the beginning...
bt im sure i'll b able to handle it... its kinda easy once ure used to it..
wat im talkin about is workin as a banquet. its some sort of waiter-like...
easy said, its a waiter job. bt u dun haf to take orders. u gt the food to them..
its a chinese wedding dinner. nt bein racist or anytin. bt its totally different.
we haf to bring all the food to them and serve them. which is kinda weird at first.
i was new thr and of coz they made use of me. nt all of em tho. some were helpful.
made new frens. bt sadly, fhad, aslam and jack were separated frm me.
fhad was at the dinner on level 2. and so are the othr 2.
durin the briefin, jack came along since the supervisor brought him up to the 10th floor.
wat a relief. tot i was gona b all alone. well, i did gt a table fr myself which SUX!
i mean helloooo, im NEW!!! arent there suppose to b trainin or sumtin...
well, there isnt. hadta start straight away... i was appointed one partner.
who is experienced... he told me to folo wat he does. and to do it fast.
so tat we will haf more time to rest. haha. kinda cool tho.
the dinner starts at 8pm bt we're there at 5pm. it's like 3 hrs away...
and i did all the work on an empty tummy. which also sux btw.
afta the dinner ended, hadta clean up sumore sia. nt fun at all.
we hadta clean every single thing on the table till spotless.
had help frm jack. cudnt do it all by myself...
all this cleanin up took all the way till 11pm. thn we celebrated one of the supervisor's bdae.
to old to b celebratin bdae eh?? haha. no one is too old to celebrate.
collected money at the office, took our bags, got changed thn went off.
we took taxi coz, well, train service ends at 11+. i dropped off first.
dats cos they goin fr supper at bukit timah. midnite charge F**kin ex sia.
$3.30. 10 bucks of my pay gone liao. wanted to pay oni 5 bucks bt i pity them la.
reached hm at exactly 12am. ate, bathe thn went to sleep. nxt morn my body sore.
its nt tat bad bt kinda tired tho. its been a while since i carried tables n food.
large quantity tat is. tats bout all im gona say. n sorie to kip my blogg all dusty.
